The Choral Society with the Hartland Chamber Orchestra, performed Handel’s “Messiah”, to a packed Baptist Church Westward Ho! on 7 May 2022.

Christmas Concert 2021

On 11 December, we held our first concert for two years, and over eighty  people joined us for readings, carols, Christmas songs, mince pies and mulled wine! Chris Beechy also played a jolly piece on St Mary’s church organ that was well appreciated.

The end of an era and the start of a new one

The Choral Society said a sad farewell to their Musical DirectorMichael James  as well as rehearsal accompanist Claire at the  end of its recent Spring Concert featuring Haydn’s Nelson Mass. The well-appreciated final concert also included Handel’s Water Music played by the Hartland Chamber Orchestra as well as solos by Peter Clarke and Deborah Bayliss.
